Our library is open to anyone to come, visit, and read books. Some of our services such as borrowing materials, access to READS, etc. are reserved for patrons with library cards. All residents and those employed in Weakley County can obtain a library card for free. To get a library card, bring your drivers license with your current address and fill out the application. If your license does not have your current address (ex. recently moved) then you must present your license and an official piece of mail with your name and current address on it. Once completed you will receive a library card and be allowed access to all of the services we offer. When you initially get a card you will be allowed to borrow up to 3 items. After the first set of items are returned to the library your limit will be extended to 10 items. Be sure to let the staff know that you are making your first return so that they can change your status in our system. There is no age restriction on obtaining a library card.
