Amanda Little, professor of journalism and science writing at Vanderbilt University, brings the non-partisan Kidizenship program to Discovery Park. This morning activity merges civics education with creative self-expression and community action, helping kids to build a brighter future and an inclusive, just, and sustainable democracy. This event is sponsored by Humanities Tennessee and occurs in conjunction with the visit of the Smithsonian traveling exhibit, Voices and Votes, at the Martin Public Library, October 7-November 18.
